When Caitlin Sherman and Jason Goessl formed Slow Skate in 2005, the sole purpose was to have a side project that would allow them to play their favorite ballads, usually over a few drinks in someone's living room. After recording an album of covers in Minneapolis, summer of '05, the pair decided to shift the focus to Caitlin's original material. With one full-length released last year (Trace the Lines, Conduit Records) and one album completed and waiting in the wings (Past the Whole Parade), Slow Skate has kept themselves busy in and out of the living room.
